Dear Citizen:
The Public Service Division will pick up
your yard waste only on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. If you
put your rubbish or yard waste Out for collection on another day you
will be ticketed.
THE FOLLOWING IS CONSIDERED YARD WASTE:
GRASS CLIPPINGS, GARDEN WEEDS, LEAVES AND TREE TRIMMINGS LESS THAN 2
INCHES IN DIAMETER AND NO LONGER THAN 4 FEET IN LENGTH, BUNDLED AND
TIED WITH TWINE OR ROPE.
To ensure that your yard waste is picked
up. please follow these basic rules: If you are using a yard waste
can, (32 gallon receptacle is can size limit) it must be clearly
marked with a 93YARD WASTE STICKER .93 Stickers are available at the
Public Service Department located at 12050 Woodward Avenue. If you
are using YARD WASTE PAPER BAGS (available at local retailer) a yard
waste sticker is not needed.
REMEMBER!! DO NOT MIX
RUBBISH WITH YOUR YARD WASTE. IF YOU DO. IT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.

RUBBISH HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
No Rubbish/Yardwaste will be picked
up on Memorial Day, JuIy4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Xmas.
Rubbish/Yardwaste pickup for these days will be May 27, July 5,
Sept2. 2, Nov 28 and Dec. 26
BOTH YARD WASTE AND RUBBISH
MUST NOT EXCEED 50 POUNDS IN WEIGHT.
BOTH YARD WASTE AND
RUBBISH SHOULD BE PLACE AT CURBSIDE BY 6:30 AM FOR PICK UP.
