UNITED RHODE ISLAND BLOCK CLUB Jane Robinson, President Margaret Lewis, Vice-President Elene Robinson, Secretary Hazel Cowan, Treasurer May 5, 2003 The United Rhode Island Block Club presents, Spring ALLEY Clean Up, May 9, 2003 & May 10, 2003 If you live on the South Side of Colorado or the North Side of Massachusetts, please join us in ALLEY CLEAN UP weekend. Rhode Island Block Club will offer a front loader and a dumpster for both sides. If you park your car in the garage during the clean-up period you may be blocked in. So please park on the street instead. The clean up will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Rhode Island/Massachusetts alley at Oakland Avenue. Please be there at 9:00 a.m. SHARP. The loader will then begin behind the Mini Mall on down. We are also asking that you help with trash bags, gloves, push brooms, shovels, rakes, small wheel barrels, wagons, bottled water and cups. We are hoping that everyone does their part in helping. Remember, cleaner alleys are safer and beautify the city and increase the property values of our homes.
