I moved into the Highland Park area six years ago with a vision of what the city could be, large lots and beautiful old homes. When is the city going to get off their butts and do something to help others like me improve their surroundings? Instead of an imrpovement I see nothing but decay. Lets start by getting all the crack heads off of Hamilton. What about all the empty new homes sitting on the northeast side of Woodward. Did they think that people would honestly want to move into these new homes when the rest of the city is still a mess. It seems to me that that their priorities are not really in order. |

The 'North Point' building construction project is a mystery to me. I know that DEVCO has had a hand in bringing the project together. I visited the area last week; a striking contrast hit me - a burnt out house with the lawn cut, next to a spanking new unoccupied home with weeds as high as an elephants eye. It was worthy of a National Geographic front cover. (Thinks) - I'll go take a picture and post it. |
