http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=200 6604140458 Sheriff Warren Evans said city residents should expect to see lots more deputies -- from the sheriff's fugitive apprehension team, auto theft unit, morality unit and more -- for several weeks to come. "It's not changing what we do," Evans said Thursday. "It's just putting an emphasis on a certain geographical area." |

Musician, If your street is being targeted by law-breakers, document the occurences with the date and time it happens. Start talking to your neighbors. Finally, create an 'action' day. Get a group of your neighbors to visit the HP station of the Wayne County Police ( I believe it's behind the Glory Supermarket? ) - Friends of mine did something similar in the bad old days when the HP cops were reluctant to lift a finger. The powers that be realized that the citizenry were more of a problem than the drug dealer in that particular house. The dealer were gone a week later. |
