I am thankful that Mr Goodfellow created a way to get the messages out to the consuming community when there is things that citizens need to know about. That's why I use HP Folks every chance I can to put the message out,and Stephen, hopefully one day we can be friends again. However today my concern is consumers going into many of the metro Detroit area grocery stores including HIghland Park, and thanking that they are getting the meat deal of their lifetimes.Well you better look closely at a few things when buying meat.Look at the date be careful not to buy old meat mixed in with fresh meat to make it seem like you getting a deal. The reason why I can talk about this is at the end of last week I purchased a meat package deal from a local well know meat packing company, and two days later when I decided to open the sauage in the meat deal for breakfast and cooked the meat I got really ill.The Holidays is coming up soon, and consumers will be buying meat for the holidays please notice what you are buying, the color of the meat, and the expiring dates. If you can't see the dates complain about it to the store manager.Food Poison can kill a person, and I would love to see many of you around in 2005(smile).In closing in 2005 there will be a nationwide War on Bad Meat, and believe me more details will be announced later as time moves on. Here in Highland Park I do not have to call food stores names but when you shop check your meat.Peace in love that's why I am concerned about the community's well being. Be Blessed. |

Hi William, Thanks for the heads up - people need to know about substandard food on the local shelves that'll make them sick.

My Brother's William and Stephen; I read Y'All's last post about the rotten meat, in the local store's. Y'All might want to tell the folk's you talk to, that at the Gratiot Centeral Market, all the meat is fresh, and if your into it, there are fresh Chicken's, Rabbit's, etc. Keep up the good fight Brother's |
