Highland Park citizens wake up and smell the coffee.There is sellouts amoung our elected City officials believe me.There is proof before our eyes and many of us are beginning to see what's happening to our city.On the YOUR OPINION page of this week's Michigan Citizen's edition (July25th -July31th,2004) you will see Ms Pearson's move to hand Rothchilds-Wright group our water dept.Ms Pearson wrote a letter to Mr Wright that she would sign a ten 10 year contact with his company to manage our water department.She have violated the City of Highland Park rights,and I believe she have help from someone inside our City Administration.If you citizens recall RWG did admit that they do not have the experience in running municipal water departments.So what is the catch to having an inexperience agency run our water department? As citizens we can get a petition to have Ms Pearson fired.She have been here in our city 3 years,and to me she is taking the City down more.As Citizens we can petition the Govenor to fire Ms Pearson,and I am sure the Govenor sees the damage being done.I am 100% with any community group who is fighting to save our water dept.Also the community branch of the William AkbarX Movement PRIDE OF HIGHLAND PARK, which is made up of Citizens who is willing to go beyond their community,and fight to save the City.
