To clarify information contained in the interview with Ramona Pearson in the latest issue of the Legacy newspaper, the art works owned by McGregor Library were (at the personal expense of the president of the McGregor Library Commission, Katherine Clarkson) photodocumented, wrapped in acid free paper, cushioned with bubble wrap and transported directly from McGregor Library to the Technicom Group on Oakland Ave., a local Highland Park firm which has generously stored the art works at their own expense in their climate controlled secure storeroom since the closing of the library (for two years now). The works of art are not and never were stored in the home of Katherine Clarkson. No materials from the library are in Ms Clarkson's possession. Any allegations to the contrary are misinformed and incorrect. |

Thanks Library Commission, for sharing the above information with us. It's a shame how people in the media seem to always print misinformed and in correct information. But realize that 90% of the information they get is from people who think they know everything, or sometimes whenever a person have media power, some do take it upon themselves to print articles that's made up from some wild idea they created in their heads. Keep up the good work Ms Clarkson, and GOD knows your heart. |
