Purpose:
This is a fledgling resource - an effort to place web accessible
PC's in the hands of children, senior citizens and the
generally those in need.
It does not take a rocket scientist to recognize that Highland
Park will thrive as a city if it's citizens can obtain the ability
to allow large sections of it's population to communicate with one
another.
Solutions sought:
- Some organization that can donate
storage space and an umbrella organization so we can enjoy
non-profit status. Suggestions?
- Some financial source so that we
can purchase inexpensive parts. Suggestions?
- Personnel who have computer
know-how to modify the them to make them web worthy.

Obstacles:
The largest obstacle may be that a
LOT of poor folks around here won't be able to afford the basic
price of web access.
