your drinking water

Egan, head of HP's Water Department was kind enough to lend me these
pictures to place on the site.
Every so often, a crew heads to the HP water intake at Lake Saint Claire
to remove the buildup of whatever creatures clog it up.
The clean-up brings forth a fascinating array of Zebra mussels and fish
including the slimy looking Mud Puppy, an ugly looking creature that is in
the process of evolving out of, or into the lake.
